Let’s get to football season……..now!!!!

August 1^st is just around the corner, my baseball team is coming off a 17-game losing streak and completely out of the postseason picture, and the best golfer in the world is still sidelined because of an injury. That makes this time of year, which is a lull in the sports season anyway, almost unbearable when it comes to being a sports fan. I mean seriously what else is out there? WatchingSportsCenter is almost a chore, thank god for Scott van Pelt.

 So with that being said let’s look forward to early September and the best time of year, AKA the start of college football season, and the start of a hopefully magical run for the devils.

Over the next couple weeks I’m going to break down the 10 key players that will make or break the Sun Devils campaign. This isn’t a list of the top 10 players, but more of a list of the 10 most important players, the 10 who really need to answer the bell for this team to win. In many ways it’s a list of 10 questions that will determine the outcome of the 2011 season. For instance, the offensive line is obviously critical but not included on this list, because with 9 returning lineman with experience I’m banking that this will be strength all season. No real question here.
